The whole movie was very focused on the main character and didn’t give a little scene for the others. I am not sure about this but it might be the style of the director. Minus 2 for certainly there are still rooms for improvement. To sum it up, “for me”, I Spit On Your Grave movies is not just about the graphics and violence, it is a movie with a reasonable plot. Keep it up for all the people who worked on this! She was definitely the right actress for the main character. Her acting fitted perfectly with the whole story even her look. It might have been a low budget film as the others claim it to be. The actors and actresses did a great work in delivering their characters of course, specially for the main character. I get that they made it less gory since we have seen enough from the previous ones and it will just be too much for the 3 movies in general. The sounds and visual are still the same with the first 2 which are effective for the story-telling. The conversations and lines used satisfy the situation of the scenes. It was predictable but despite of that the scenarios were still well thought out. I think the writers did a great job in making the story line realistic in terms of decisions and behavior. What more if you continue to see other women who happen to have a similar situation as you and know that these bad men come from anywhere and continue to destroy innocent lives? The main character went crazy. You will have to be a very strong and well minded person not to break down or suicide after that. What were they expecting the story to see? I can pretty agree that a victim of a very brutal gang rape and doing her ‘as sick’ revenge on her offenders will turn you in to a monster shit has shaped you to become.

I could not relate on how the others were too disappointed about the film. What happened after? Because, that is my actual question after watching 1 and 2. I agree with the producers/writers idea in making a sequel. I really did appreciate the whole movie and in fact I am happy that they did not make me see another story of a woman being gang raped and then having her vengeance all over again. That is fine anyway since we all have our own opinion. The counsel got out and she also stabbed her multiple times.Īfter seeing the movie, I read movie reviews about it and was disappointed with what people has to say. She got out and there were like 3 female inmates that came up to her and tried to kill her. The ending was when they were already done talking.

Actually, the movie was made out of flashbacks while she was sitting with a counsel and narrates all the crimes that she did. As the movie goes, the murders of rapists the main character had committed as it costs her her life, she became a ‘monster’ from being a helpless victim not showing any sign of remorse for her actions and thoughts, care with her self, the system and eventually to anyone. The story, not only for rape, brought light on other sensitive issue like the portrayed justice system in the movie failing to serve and protect these victims of injustices. As the main character deals with the other rape victims and know of their stories, she began to bring some of them a similar justice she gave herself. There, they were told to learn forgiveness so that they will start to have their peace of mind. She then joined a group of rape victims where the purpose of it was to heal themselves by sharing their dark experiences. If you saw the film, she did try her best to equal with the horrid crime committed against her. Well, for a quick summary, the story was about the rape victim from the I spit on your grave part one’s “second” life after she got raped and bringing to herself the kind of justice she prefers to have Vengeance by giving her rapists a taste of her wrath using her grizzly ways of torture. now let me tell you what I want to say about the third one. This is why I did not hesitate to see what the makers of the film would do with the part 2. I will have to say, it is really a must-watch for an audience who prefers to see a killing themed movie with a good story. However, I did appreciate how the movie was made out of vividly graphic scenes without trying hard on impressing the audience with all the crazy violence. Even worse that it is about a rape, a very horrifying act of gang rape plot by seemingly soulless men to be exact. It was bad enough to see a “torture” movie. Having watched that movie was really a shocker. I have to say, from those times, I haven’t seen much gruesome movies. It was probably only at 2012 when I saw the movie ‘I Spit On Your Grave’.
